The daddy of Brazilian Brutalism, Paulo Mendes da Rocha is best known for his provocative use of concrete and steel. The architect has had a prolific 50-year career and he continues to take on new projects despite being in his eighties. Current works include the Vigo University building in Spain and the new Carriage Museum in Lisbon. Here, we take a look at some of his past and latest projects.
