Celebrating classic Greek food with a contemporary flare, Ergon takes the traditional taverna to the next level. Boasting a menu created by executive chef Dimitris Skarmoutsos - a household name in his home country, with six restaurants to his name - this eatery will feed you some of the Greek countryside’s best ingredients with recipes reinvented for the 21st century. The interiors, designed by Thessaloniki-based Urban Soul Project (based on a concept by Greek architects Prodromos Nikiforidis and Bernard Cuomo), are equally modern, featuring simple white-painted brick walls and handmade cement tiles from Crete. Sited in central London, Ergon is the brainchild of entrepreneurial brothers Thomas and Giorgos Douzis and also includes a deli, giving clients the option to take the restaurant’s delicious ingredients home.
