Custom Covers

Wallpaper's cover is usually sacred territory but, for our Handmade issue, we placed it in your hands. Using a palette of images, textures and type from some of our favourite graphic artists and software tailored for us by Kin Design, we gave you the chance to create your very own cover of the magazine.

Thousands of you took us up on the challenge and some of the results were so impressive that Meirion, our art director, is now sleeping a little less sweetly. Here, we take a look at how this feat of logistics came together. Plus, our custom covers collaborators reveal their latest work.
