Virgin Atlantic is sporting a brand new look. Bold yet refined, the new design - which was launched on one of Boeing 747-400 aircraft G-VROC flying from London to Boston - will now be applied on all planes, signs and advertising.
Currently working with a number of British designers to reignite the brand, the airline started by developing a fresh, highly-reflective red paint that makes the logo stand out in the sky. The Virgin Atlantic name is now emblazoned across the body of the aircraft in a fine, custom font, while, underneath the aircraft, the new Virgin Atlantic logo can be found in dark purple - which makes it more identifiable during takeoff and landing.
Virgin's iconic flying lady remains at the helm meanwhile, but she too has been treated to a subtle face-lift inspired by burlesque artist Dita Von Teese.
