La Maruca — Madrid, Spain
The third restaurant from chef Paco Quirós (the man behind the celebrated eaterie Cañadio) is located in the Salamanca district of Madrid. Named after a beach on the northern coast of Spain, minutes from the port city Santander, La Maruca serves up a tapas menu with a distinct maritime flavour and plenty of fresh fish. Designed by architecture firm Estudio Zooco, the cosy loft-style space features glass mosaics by local brand Hisbalit, raw woods with accents of red and includes a summer and winter terrace, bar, lounge and dining room with two floors.
