Mozza — Monte Carlo, Monaco
Monaco is Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet's stomping ground: after completing five restaurants in the principality, the duo recently unveiled this transalpine trattoria. Inspired by the sets of Martin Scorsese films, the space echoes Italian traditions with exposed-brick walls, crimson leather banquettes, industrial lights, vintage mirrors, marble tables and mosaic floors. With a mozzarella bar serving nine different varieties, plus homemade pasta and an impressive wine collection enclosed in wooden cabinets, everything speaks Italian. A landscaped terrace and outside bar, with an red wood banquettes seating an additional 30, make Mozza the perfect summer spot.
