Okko Hotel — Nantes, France
A bold, innovative hotel concept from three visionaries, Okko was established by Accor Group co-founder Paul Dubrule, ex-SuiteHotels CEO Olivier Devys and designer Patrick Norguet. The brand aims to combine the advantages of big hotel corporations - competitive rates and top-end features and service - with the authentic values of independent brands. 'The idea was to create modern yet functional rooms and offer luxury at an accessible price,' says Devys. Set to appear across France over the next couple of years, the group is launching its first property in Nantes, followed by Lyon, Grenoble, Cannes and Strasbourg. Inside the guestrooms, peace and light prevail in a predominantly white space enhanced with hints of soft pinks and pale yellows. Minimal design combined with unlimited access to multimedia resources makes it easy to work, play or relax.
