Nomad restaurant review - Sydney, Australia
Bar, restaurant, cellar door, wine store, or all four? Set in a refurbished warehouse space - its exposed brick and ironwood beams and columns complemented by additions of steel, glass and concrete _- Nomad offers guests the chance to sample the best of Australian produce. Master of wine Rob Geddes has worked with owners Al Yazbek and Rebecca Littlemore to create a list showcasing some of the country's finest boutique wineries. Accompanying the fine drops is chef Nathan Sasi's Mediterranean-inspired menu, which features locally sourced produce. Stop by for a glass of savagnin from Victoria's Alpine Valley and a selection of charcuterie from the glass maturing cabinet, or spend an entire evening enjoying fine food (snapper tartare, wood-roasted pork) and wine. If you fall in love with what you're sipping, you can buy a bottle to take away.
