Watch Ermenegildo Zegna Couture’s snowscape show flurry into life

Ermenegildo Zegna Couture swapped last season’s sun-drenched orange gravel show for a snow scene for A/W 2018. Artistic director Alessandro Sartori collaborated with the Swiss artist Thomas Flechtner – whose 2002 series SNOW also inspired the brand’s collection of snuggly shearling, leather and fur – on a snow-sprinkled set in Milan’s Bocconi University. A path of artificial snow formed a polar catwalk, populated with graphic ice blocks; as models walked, their intrepid boots and loafers became layered with frosty particles.
