Tom Dixon’s finely-honed design aesthetic has finally made it to Paris with the recent launch of restaurant Éclectic. Spearheaded by restaurateurs Fabienne and Philippe Amzalak - best known for reinstating Le Bon and launching Ma Cocotte - the new 160-seat eatery happily marries Parisian chic and British eccentricity, while paying tribute to 1970s architecture. Exposed concrete walls enhanced with backdrops of golden brass, waxed floors and recurring hexagon patterns, give the restaurant a resolutely modernist feel, while wooden booths, sculptural custom-made furniture and a huge honeycomb-like chandelier warm up the restaurant’s bold design.
