Following his superb Pavilion Zero at Milan’s Expo site and his wooden-wave building at Milan’s Porta Nuova district, Michele de Lucchi’s latest imprint is Residenza Litta, a historic palazzo renovation in the 5Vie District. The Milan based architect refurbished the 17th century building and designed the interiors of a new residential complex. Five of the de Lucchi-designed apartments will be on view during Salone, housing a selection of small designers including Israeli design duo Magenta, Matteo Cibic, Gianpaolo Vernier, Great Design and a collection of marble designs by new label Carrara Design Factory. Also noteworthy is Rome Gallery Secondome that will present new works by Bethan Laura Wood and Aut + Chiara Onida, as well as a hotly anticipated reprise of Martino Gamper’s artisan hit exhibit ‘From To’ which was shown only to a handful of VIP press in a Caccia Dominioni-designed home last year.
