London Design Festival 2014 preview
As London gears up for its annual creative showcase, the finishing touches are being added to exhibitions across the capital. While the V&A remains the London Design Festival hub, events, shows and installations will pepper the city, with new districts like Islington and Queens Park getting in on the action this year, alongside veterans like Clerkenwell and Brompton. With so much to see, navigating it all can be tough. Here, we bring you our edit of the top 20 exhibitions.

For its fourth London edition, Designjunction has packed its vast Sorting Office venue full of design action. One of the chief draws will, of course, be Wallpaper’s collaboration with Afghanmade, for which five carpet brands have made their first forays into Afghan weaving. Other highlights include a charitable venture for Anglepoise and Ercol; the launch of new British/Indian brand Tiipoi; a pop-up café by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi; and The Fleet of Dazzle, a collaboration between Patternity and the Imperial War Museum.
18 - 21 September; The Sorting Office, 21-23 New Oxford Street, WC1A 1BA
