Dunhill S/S 2015

Dunhill's S/S 2015 expedition spoke of a man much like Alfred Dunhill himself, a man driven by the freedom of the open road. Creative director John Ray called out 'escape' as the season's buzz word, with the idea of outfits knocked together from a gentleman's kitbag, haphazardly packed with sumptuous yet mismatched staples. Natural, muted colours spanning dusk to dawn washed across the relaxed silhouette of longer blazers, coats and shirt jackets, paired either with straight trousers hitting the ankle or a tailored short. Obscure botanical designs featuring seaweed and magnolia buds livened the offering as Dunhill's first-ever print, injecting a frivolous, vintage touch into the otherwise staid, sartorial wardrobe.
