Chopping wood is an American ritual, a chance for the modern man to get in touch with his inner frontiersman. And thanks to Best Made Company, you can now have an axe that can lean proudly in the most contemporary of backwoods retreats.

Established this year, Best Made Co is the brainchild of New York-based graphic designer Peter Buchanan-Smith and outdoorsman and environmentalist Graeme Cameron. Each axe is designed, handmade, polished and painted in a New Jersey workshop. Proper cutting edge.
