Sarah Douglas is Editor-in-Chief at Wallpaper*, where she is responsible for its print magazine, digital platforms, in-house creative agency Bespoke, interior design service Composed, and brand partnerships and events, including Wallpaper's annual Handmade (soon to be Re-Made) exhibition at Salone del Mobile. During her 12 year tenure at the magazine she has commissioned a wealth of illustrious artists and designers, including Jean Nouvel, Tom Sachs, Konstantin Grcic, Yayoi Kusama, Elmgreen & Dragset, Wim Crouwel, Thomas Heatherwick, Jenny Holzer and Hussein Chalayan, championed next generation talents, such as Bethan Laura Wood, Philippe Malouin, Paul Cocksedge and Craig Green, and created partnerships and collaborations with many prestigious brands. Douglas is also a member of the judging panel for the London Design Medal, and regularly judges for international design competitions, including D&AD.
Yoko Choy is Wallpaper’s China Editor. Born in Hong Kong, Choy is an experienced design journalist and an esteemed creative consultant, whose clients include fair organisers, brands and creatives. Currently based in Hong Kong and Amsterdam, she views East-meets-West as more than just an alignment of two aesthetic visions; as a multilingual and multicultural creative commentator and communicator, she translates the knowledge and insights from both worlds into a common language, raising awareness of the importance of cross-cultural exchange in the creative industry and businesses.
Laura Hawkins is the Fashion and Jewellery News Editor of Wallpaper*. Laura creates and commissions fashion and jewellery content for Wallpaper’s print and online formats, that also incorporate the art, architecture and design fields.
Harriet Lloyd- Smith is Wallpaper’s Editorial Assistant. A trained artist with an MA in Arts Journalism, Lloyd-Smith is focused on contemporary art and sustainability in design. She recently interviewed the Mayor of Copenhagen ahead of the C40 Mayors Climate Change Summit in October.
Ellie Stathaki is the Architecture Editor at Wallpaper* magazine. She trained as an architect at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and studied architectural history at the Bartlett in London. Now an established journalist, she has also contributed to the books 1,000 Buildings You Must See Before You Die and the World Atlas of Contemporary Architecture.
Digital Media Design
Elly Parsons is the Digital Editor of Wallpaper*. She has a Masters degree in creative and life writing, with a specialism in digital journalism, and lectures widely on digital media in the arts. Keenly interested in the intersection of technology, art and design, she has interviewed renowned creative leaders, artists and practitioners, from Jeff Koons to Jony Ive, Issey Miyake to Brian Eno.
Jonathan Bell is Wallpaper’s Transport & Technology Editor. He writes about architecture, interiors, transport, technology and industrial design. Jonathan is the author and editor of nine books, including Carchitecture, Concept Car Design, The 21st Century House, and The New Modern House.
Alice Morby is Wallpaper’s Acting Design Editor. With a background in fashion writing, she segued into design and architecture journalism and is today widely recognized in the industry for her writings on furniture, craft, lighting and more.
Amy Heffernan is the Interiors Director at Wallpaper*. She scours the world for the very best in contemporary design to feature in the pages of the magazine, and styles and commissions its still-life interiors photo shoots.
