The palatial grounds of Chatsworth House plays host this autumn to a monumental display of contemporary sculpture organised by Sotheby's
Titled 'Beyond Limits', the show will feature works by 20th century titans such as Aristide Maillol and Lynn Chadwick alongside contemporary greats, among them Cristina Iglesias, Joana Vasconcelos and Erwin Wurm. Zaha Hadid's curvaceous Lilas pavilion, originally designed for the Serpentine summer party in 2007, takes centre stage, meanwhile Bruce Munro's ethereal steel waterlilies glisten on the Canal Pond.
The auction house has offered Wallpaper* this exclusive taster, filmed on a 35mm camera perched on a Freefly Alta 8 drone, the world's leading heavy lift octocopter. As their head of video, Nigel Hilditch explains, 'it took the best people to achieve this.' We agree that it's the perfect way to convey the ambition and grandeur of a show that stands at the cutting edge.
