Fixtures, fittings and furnishings – and a well-equipped kitchen - are beautifully composed but Casciani is also keen to promote the foodie distractions of the apartment’s location: the small medieval town of Soriano nel Cimino, 40 miles outside Rome in the hills of Northern Lazio. The area is known for wild boar, porcini and chestnuts, and the town boasts a number of speciality food stores.
