Zoom Hotel — Brussels, Belgium

Hoteliers Fabian Henrion and Bernard Wilmet continue to add to the Brussels hotel scene with the launch of their second property, Zoom. Located a few steps from the chic Avenue Louise, the 37-room lodging - housed in a stately 20th century townhouse - is based around participative photography; Brussels’ residents were encouraged to take snapshots of the city - 400 of which were selected to decorate the hotel walls. The interiors are a joint effort between local architect Olivier Hannaert and designer Michel Penneman, who outfitted the space with an industrial chic aesthetic in a warming grey and brown palette. Focus is also on the food, with a breakfast menu featuring treats from local boutique suppliers, while the Beerhouse serves a wide selection of regional brews- perfect with a treat from Belgian chocolate masters, Dolfin.
