La Suite Sans Cravate — Bruges, Belgium
La Suite Sans Cravate is a fresh and creative addition to the rather traditional hotel scene in medieval Bruges. Following on from their already successful Michelin-starred restaurant Sans Cravate, husband and wife duo Veronique and Henk Van Oudenhove spent years transforming this traditional mansion into an intimate space with four suites and a breakfast room. Century old wooden beams accentuate the clean and contemporary décor, while details such as the Dutch Nilson beds adorned with refined Belgian linen add a hint of luxury. The delicate breakfast is a real treat: local Flemish specialties, freshly baked bread and homemade sweets are presented on handmade porcelain by local ceramist Anja Meeusen.
