Barbara Casasola A/W 2016
Mood board: Underwear transformed into outerwear in this winter collection of Barbara Casasola. The comfort of fluid nudes, whites and lime green (sometimes shimmery, sometimes matte,) contrasted with more tailored black and soft grey separates.
Best in show: Bare shoulders, either by means of asymmetrical dresses or nonchalantly worn coats, gave expression to the tension between sensual dressing and smart cover-ups that women balance today.
Finishing touches: Simple and elegant pointed mid-heeled pumps kept the focus on the harmonious silhouette, emphasised also by scarf necklines that illustrated the ease with which the Casasola woman dresses.
