Plein Sport A/W 2017

Scene setting: Renowned for his ostentatious catwalk sets, Philipp Plein worked with regular collaborator Simon Costin to create a running track style runway, where his muscular models marched to the sound of a live motivational speaker.
Mood board: High performance sports gear, from boxing shots to diamond-quilted gilets came in luxurious and slogan heavy fabrications. These were completed with protective outerwear, including patent leather parkas and padded bomber jackets.
Finishing touches: Placing focus on the functional, Plein’s athletic elite arrived on the runway armed with boxing gloves, kettle bells and training bags, no doubt brimming with high-energy titbits.
