The second leg of Wallpaper* magazine’s SodaStream Lock In parties went off in true bunga bunga style in Milan last week. Timed to coincide with Salone del Mobile, the 500-strong guest list included stellar names from the design and architecture world, including Tom Dixon, Ron Arad, Bethan Laura Wood, Jasper Conran, Tord Boontje, Nigel Coates and Nina Tolstrup.
Held at the historic La Sala Liberty, one of Milan’s finest ballrooms and concert halls veteran DJ Barnaba Fornasetti, head of the Fornasetti Atelier and son of the painter and sculptor Piero Fornasetti, rocked the dance floor with a house/disco/easy listening/electro clash of music styles, while SodaStream’s design supremo Yves Béhar conceived the cocktails, which included the Maraschino-based 'Dorchester’s Sister' and 'Bicicletta' made with Campari, club soda and Pinot Grigio. Festa!
