High-energy: Fuseproject reveals superlight Zolt device charger
San Franciso branding powerhouse Fuseproject claims it has created the future of on-the-go charging. It certainly seems like they might have cracked it. Weighing just 100g (about half an apple), Zolt is currently the lightest and most compact mobile device charger on the market.
The multi-faceted, geometric design is both eye catching – by way of an electric orange and violet colour palette – and practical. An octagonal shape creates a larger surface area, allowing space for more venting holes which helps maintain the necessary low internal temperature. The cylindrical design also acts as a storage solution, allowing you to wrap your cables around the non-slip surface whilst charging, maximising pocket-space and preventing tangles.
Zolt is the very definition of small and mighty. Unlike bulkier chargers, it can reboot three devices at once (that’s your laptop, phone and iPod) thanks to its reconfigured circuitboard and innovative USB triport, designed by the technology whiz-kids at Avogy.
Fuseproject (who are as much about business innovation as they are design) haven’t just created a high-power device charger – they’ve created a high-power brand.
