Leading the haute hair care revolution, Italian sustainable hair brand pioneer Davines and Angelo Seminara, artistic director at Davines and famed international hairstylist, have joined forces to introduce a range of products that are set to become a new hairdressing staple.
'Your Hair Assistant’ has been three years in the making and sees Seminara, whose show-stopping styles have been modeled by some of the industry’s most famous faces, taking on the role as the hairdresser’s ‘personal assistant’ by providing a step-by-step guide on how to perfect the blow-dry.
Each of the seven distinct products has been specifically designed to work in synergy with the next. Comprising of a shampoo, two nourishing conditioners, a blow-dry primer (which Seminara singles out as the hero product), volume creator (and brush), definition mist and hairspray, the line is sulphate and paraben free, wrapped in carbon neutral Zero Impact packaging and infused with top quality ingredients (think vitamins E and A, almond oil, jojoba oil, bamboo and coconut). In addition, the delicate fragrance, a bouquet of jasmine and mint, lingers subtly in the hair after use.
‘Your Hair Assistant’ offerings are made all the more unique by their packaging. In keeping with the brand’s unpretentious style, feminine mauve bottles are given contrast with elegant black accents; a sleek yet sophisticated design, which was conceived by Seminara and Maria Vittoria, the creative director at Davines.
The final result leaves hair beautifully soft, weightless and bouncy with a range of hairstyles to experiment with. ‘Your Hair Assistant’ can be used to achieve modern or timeless looks, from the contemporary and sleek, to more glamorous and voluminous, celebrating women’s natural beauty in the process.
