Marni A/W 2015
Mood board: The lengths dropped, the waists were cinched and the fabrics advanced as Marni's Consuelo Castiglioni cut tunic-like sheaths over flared skirts and wide pants to create a warrior-esque silhouette for autumn.
Best in show: Weighty, cloak-like coats were superbly drawn throughout the show, but the hit of the collection was a grey wool version in the finale that featured laser cut holes trimmed in glistening black crystals.
Finishing touches: Fur arms, python bags and huge disc earrings all gave a tribal feel to this collection, while the new python boot of the season featured a sole that extended beyond the edge of the foot like a puddle.
