Dolce & Gabbana A/W 2017
Team work: Keeping up with the digital-savvy audience that tap into their humorous and ostentatious aesthetic, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana invited a host of social media starlets to walk the runway in their designs. The mash-up made for top marks in millennial thinking.
Mood board: A monumental myriad of baroque, regal and animal-inspired references, Dolce & Gabbana’s millennial models strode the catwalk in metallic jacquard and kitten print suits, cavalry jackets, embellished denim and patchwork puffer jackets.
Finishing touches: Ornate silk dressing gowns and pyjamas emphasised the dressed down decadence of today’s social media stars. Paired with golden crowns and medieval style helmets, these models walked as the knights and princes of the Instagram generation.
