Giorgio Armani A/W 2016
Giorgio Armani adds a new, weightier dimension to his classic menswear separates as Milan wraps up
Mood board: Giorgio Armani brought a whiff of the relaxed outdoors to his runway as fuzzy wools, thick cashmeres and soft tweeds added a new, cooler and weightier dimension to his classic menswear separates.
Best in show: The best looks were louche and relaxed, but unequivocally simple. A fabulous segment of all navy blue ensembles shone brightest, especially the wide leg, cropped trousers and brilliantly plain overcoats. Also noteworthy were the sweeping plaid cape sweaters that trailed behind the models as they walked.
Finishing touches: The men wore the season's required rugged lug sole shoes and countless versions of hiking boots, yet they still carried the faint memory of a dandy, felt hats clutched humbly in hand.
