Furniture gallery R/Turpan opens in East Hampton

R 20th Century Gallery and Turpan have merged their curatorial visions to create an exciting new gallery in East Hampton, named R/Turpan.
Launched in 1997 by Zesty Meyers and Evan Snyderman, R 20th Century brings together a fascinating edit of vintage and artist-made furniture, while Turpan - a store with branches in East Hampton and LA - features a range of objects, tableware, jewellery and accessories. Together they will provide a full spectrum of design for the home.
The new gallery will feature ceramics by Korean Hun-Chung Lee, furniture by Brazilian modernist designer Sergio Rodrigues and lighting by American born Jeff Zimmerman, among others. It will also be a space for talks and events with specific designers.
