Sebastian Herkner’s cable-liberal lighting and low-fi design chairs ensured this designer a spot on our radar, but this month we were intrigued to see that the Offenbach am Main-based creative - in collaboration with industrial designer Reinhard Dienes - has taken a brave new step into the world of mainstream electronics. Plugged into a computer, the meterManager accurately calculates the exact amount of domestic water, electricity and natural gas being used with Bauhaus style efficiency.
