London Design Festival 2017 preview

Summer may be winding down in London, but things in the British capital are just hotting up. The London Design Festival (16-24 September) is set to kick off this week, with galleries, museums and studios in all corners of the metropolis poised for action. This year – in addition to popular staples like the Landmark projects and V&A installations – the festival is upping the ante, introducing Mayfair as the newest bustling design hub, as well as the inaugural Design Frontiers exhibition at Somerset House. London Design Fair

Hosted in East London’s Truman Brewery, the London Design Fair boasts an increasingly international line-up of craft and design, with Portugal, Sweden, and the Netherlands all in the spotlight. USA has been chosen as this year’s guest country and its pavilion – curated by Sight Unseen – features designs by Ladies & Gentlemen Studio, Pat Kim and Bower.
