PB Originals, by Peter Banks, for PB Originals
In 1966, designers Peter Banks and David Heeley set up Banks Heeley Plastics, pioneering the use of Perspex to create critically acclaimed furniture collections. Banks’ daughter Penny has now chosen to re-release a range of designs in a more environmentally conscious material called Green Cast, which is made from 100 per cent recycled acrylic. ‘We extensively researched the original production methods to ensure we remained true to the actual methods used in the 1960s,’ she says. The limited-edition collection will include lounge seating, dining tables, clocks and lighting.
