Each January and September when we visit Paris for the vast Maison & Objet home-design fair in Paris, we’re hoping to be excited, delighted and surprised. Like Wallpaper’s readers, we have high expectations, and though September’s show was not exactly a disappointment, it certainly was not among the best we’ve seen. Still, there were a number of standout pieces.
