Cedric Charlier A/W 2015

Mood board: Colour is Cedric Charlier’s forte and this collection showed no different. Strong colour combinations with bright white, powder pink, navy and grass green gave mini dresses in tech fabrics an athletic feel, while loose dresses in vintage prints and high-waited trousers in intense hues hinted at an almost nostalgic atmosphere.
Finishing touches: Glitter and sequins may not seem like the best bedfellows for elegant pleated dresses and sportswear-inspired pieces, but Charlier succeeded in making them look effortless and relevant.
Best in show: A dark, one-shouldered pleated dress with a glitter effect and blue and green panels combined with a green long sleeved top underneath was a vision of movement and modern elegance that summarised the atmosphere of this vivid show.
