Mood board: For winter, Alexander Wang dove right into Balenciaga's glimmering archives, fishing out the sophistication and exaggerated 1960s silhouettes of Cristóbal Balenciaga’s original clientele.
Best in show: A pebbly white jacquard dress with a prim pencil skirt was cut with a dramatically sexy décolletage trimmed in white and grey mink.
Finishing touches: The aristocratic airs were knocked out of the proceedings by urban footwear - rugged sole slip-on booties - that could get a girl chopping through the sloppy winter streets in no time.
