Wallpaper's US editor, Michael Reynolds, found a lesser-known New York landmark for the setting of our November interiors shoot. The barnacle-encrusted 'Frying Pan' served as a lightship off the coast of North Carolina before languishing for years at the bottom of Chesapeake Bay. Now nearly 85 years old, she's been restored and docked at Pier 66, where she can be truly appreciated for her artfully weathered patina.
