The faultless location of Hotel Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower – just a few steps from the city’s celebrated landmark – is no longer what defines the property. Instead, a recent makeover by the unerringly chic architect, Christophe Pillet has given the hotel a new lease of life, securing its solid reputation. On the ground floor, towering shadow-casting vertical louvers separate the Californian brasserie from the lobby, both of which are furnished with Pillet’s sleek pieces in bold, primary colours. Meanwhile the 430 rooms and 25 suites are toned down with pale stone tiling, bespoke desks and neutral upholstery. The glass-roof ballroom is hoisted above the rooftops and the fitness centre over a football pitch for maximum motivation – but you’ll want to be in the bar or the landscaped patio where the city’s hip residents will surely come out to play.
