The Russian Club Gallery has taken artists, graphic designers and illustrators out of their comfort zones for its latest show, challenging them to create pieces of furniture or functional objects.

An offshoot of the London space's current Sameness & Difference exhibition - exploring how artists engage with furniture as a medium, muse or subject - Designers Furniture defies interdisciplinary boundaries. Nantes-born illustrator Jean Jullien has applied his witty approach to a table and benches, which together make up the image of a man, while German industrial designers-cum-future-forecasters,

Other exhibitors include French graphic designer and art director, Damien Poulain, furniture designer Michael Marriott and artist, Gemma Holt, among others. All pieces in the show - curated by design agency, Tomorrow Studio - are limited editions and are available to purchase.
