Otto — Madrid, Spain
Otto is the latest scene-stealing Madrid bar in the Spanish capital's Salamanca district, taking up a central perch on Castellana avenue next to the Plaza de Colón. For the bon vivant clientele, top-end designer Tomás Alía has orchestrated a suitably fashionable interior inspired by midcentury Americana yet executed in exceedingly contemporary style, with sleek teak-browns and multimedia art installations in the VIP room. Chef Juan Perez's menu covers Mediterranean favourites from Italy to Portugal, with a selection of tapas to begin and pastas, meats and fresh fish to follow. The bar features a list of creative cocktails and an excellent selection of tequilas and mezcals
