London Design Festival 2014 preview
As London gears up for its annual creative showcase, the finishing touches are being added to exhibitions across the capital. While the V&A remains the London Design Festival hub, events, shows and installations will pepper the city, with new districts like Islington and Queens Park getting in on the action this year, alongside veterans like Clerkenwell and Brompton. With so much to see, navigating it all can be tough. Here, we bring you our edit of the top 20 exhibitions.

Jane Withers is curating an intriguing exhibition exploring both existing schemes and future plans for urban river swimming, documented through drawings, photographs and models. The result of a study Withers undertook in her capacity as design consultant and co-founder of Wonderwater, the showcase was commissioned by Roca London Gallery, and investigates projects that enrich and humanize urban areas from London to New York.
