Missoni S/S 2016
Missoni's graphic lines did all the talking for spring

Mood board: The palette got cleansed at Missoni this spring as Angela Missoni turned back once again to the bright, light and simpler, easy silhouettes that are inherent to her family’s famous knitwear brand. It was fabulous to see a colour palette that evoked happy, effortless spring days as well as the clothes that women will want to wear on them.
Best in show: Pattern is a given at a house like Missoni but this season the collection soared with simpler, easier-to-digest striping whose graphic lines did the perfect amount of talking. All were great, but the best of these were vertical in format and tucked inside the pleats of long knit skirts and dresses whose panels splayed open to reveal a multi-coloured flash of hue.
Finishing touches: Shoes were completely flat. For dressier moments there was Missoni’s leather stripped pointed toe ankle boots. But most of the looks, even the dressier ones were paired with Converse All Stars high tops that had been custom-covered in graffiti -like scribbles.
