Explore these Milan beauty spots, from spas to salons
From a gym designed by a fashion brand to a hair salon with Gio Ponti interiors, our edit of the best Milan beauty spots offers the chance to look and feel great in a space that looks even better

Milan is a city that takes its design seriously, so it's no surprise that the city's best beauty spots are a combination of carefully considered aesthetics and quality services. From a hair salon with Gio Ponti interiors to an iconic medieval pharmacy, we share the best places in town to satisfy all of your beauty and grooming needs.
Smiths & Co
Smiths & Co is our favourite new salon in Milan. Located in the vibrant Porta Venezia neighbourhood, the cosy space is designed to feel like a ‘living room for friends', with singular design pieces like Gio Ponti lights and retro hairdressing chairs from a 1950s American salon. Beyond the interiors, the salon offers exceptional cuts and treatments using organic products from Oway.
Ceresio 7
The fitness space designed by Dsquared2 is an ultra-sleek, multifunctional wellness mecca with multiple beauty rooms, an underground pool, nutritionists, cryotherapy treatments and thalassotherapy by Biologique Recherche. The gym is packed with Technogym machines and offers classes including aerial yoga.
Santa Maria Novella
Where better to get your health fix than the world's oldest pharmacy? Santa Maria Novella's shop on Via Madonnina is a veritable wunderkammer, with all the best the brand has to offer. We recommend trying its new perfume, L'Iris, which is made from iris butter that takes six years to mature, or perfume your home with its wonderfully strange scented terracotta pomegranate.

Armani Hotel spa
The Armani Hotel Spa is an oasis of relaxation right in the heart of the city. We recommend ridding yourself of industrial grime with the spa's phytomelatonin body scrub, which uses plant-derived ingredients to repair and protect the skin from aggressors such as UV rays and polluted air. For the face, try a phytomelatonin eye contour treatment and collagen serum, which will have you looking refreshed in no time. It's a particularly good option during Milan Design Week 2022, whether you are getting ready for a big event, or looking to refresh and unwind after a long and busy week.
