The long awaited sequel to Damien Hirst’s 1998 restaurant in Notting Hill, Pharmacy 2 is a collaboration with British chef and restaurateur Mark Hix. Located above the Newport Street Gallery in Vauxhall, in a Victorian brick building converted by architects Caruso St John, harsh lighting and hospital waiting room colours play host to Hirst’s signature drug cabinets, medicinal vitrines and butterfly art. Come before 6pm to tour the gallery, which contains more than 3,000 works from Hirst’s own collection, as well as contemporary works by young and emerging talents. §
