Classified Repulse Bay — Hong Kong, China

Part of Hong Kong’s popular Classified series of cafés, the Repulse Bay edition is the brand’s latest outpost and also the first to sport its chic new look. Working to redefine the city’s somewhat generic coffee shop formula, local firm Substance has taken inspiration from the café’s seaside setting to feature marine-blue tiles, rustic timber flooring and bespoke lobster-pot inspired ceiling lights. Indulge in a menu featuring the likes of shrimp and chorizo jambalaya and organic Thai quinoa salad, or enjoy a spot of people watching, while perched on one of the two swinging sofas. The long-term plan is to revamp the brand’s nine other locations with a similar neighbourhood focus.
