London Design Festival 2016 preview
As summer draws to a close, London braces itself for a rush of activity, biggest – and most exciting – of all: its annual creative showcase. This year’s festivities stretch across the capital, from the London Design Festival hub at the V&A, to the newly baptised London Design Fair in the east, alongside veterans like Clerkenwell and Brompton, by way of new district Brixton, and a few other surprises along the way. (Not to mention the inaugural London Design Bienniale, which will take place simultaneously, too!) To make navigating London’s design wonders infinitely more enjoyable we’ve put together an edit of the top 20 exhibitions, events and installations, just for you…

Adding their intrinsic sparkle to proceedings, Swarovski’s crystals take shape under the experimental yet rigorous eye of design duo Fredrikson Stallard. New chandeliers will light up the Austrian brand’s gallery space using bespoke crystal components. Making their UK debut will also be the Glaciarium pieces for Atelier Swarovski Home.
