London Design Festival 2016 preview
As summer draws to a close, London braces itself for a rush of activity, biggest – and most exciting – of all: its annual creative showcase. This year’s festivities stretch across the capital, from the London Design Festival hub at the V&A, to the newly baptised London Design Fair in the east, alongside veterans like Clerkenwell and Brompton, by way of new district Brixton, and a few other surprises along the way. (Not to mention the inaugural London Design Bienniale, which will take place simultaneously, too!) To make navigating London’s design wonders infinitely more enjoyable we’ve put together an edit of the top 20 exhibitions, events and installations, just for you…

A creative hub in the heart of the city, L’Eden features the work of French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, who created a suspended installation of glass, perspex and brass inspired by the Champagne house. In the space, Bompas & Parr will also offer their take on a bio-responsive garden, where plants will react to visitors’ movements.
