Owned by an architect and his young family, the house is designed to be a flexible space that can be expanded to accommodate their needs
The plot is part of a gated community, with a forest of native trees at its feet. With the best views and privacy in mind, it made sense to orientate the house towards the calmness of the trees
The vegetation is richer on the house's lower side, so the top level made for a more suitable entrance
Zanelato placed the bedrooms and more private spaces on the top level
The lower part hosts the more social areas of the house
A large living space on the ground floor
The lower level also holds a separate dining area and kitchen
The living area opens out onto an outdoor terrace and the woods. Should more space be needed in the future, the architect has already planned an extension towards the back, made out of natural materials
Zanelato has created a home that is perfectly suited to the client's needs, while respecting the woodland setting and taking advantage of the area's natural assets
