Peter Jurkovič founded JRKVC at the end of 2013, after leaving another Bratislava-based practice. He takes pride in listening and developing amicable relationships with clients to reach the best design solution. Jurkovič currently works with one freelance employee and two architecture students and collaborates with another small studio on larger projects. He lists a few of his influences as: ‘Jo Nagasaka’s Schemata Architects for their interior and custom furniture works, Herzog & de Meuron for everything, Peter Zumthor’s poetics and David Chipperfield’s focus on tectonic and material tradition.’
