A couple of years ago Maurizio Cattelan, artist, provocateur and pioneering quiff-revivalist, and Pierpaolo Ferrari, photographer and regular Wallpaper* contributor, launched Toiletpaper, a darkly lovely and decidedly odd photography / art magazine.

Ever since we have been attempting a holy union of some sorts, a magical meeting of art, fashion and design's great and good-looking. That magic happened during this year's Salone del Mobile at Milan's 1950s ballrooom and restaurant, Sala Venezia. We joined Cattelan and Ferrari in welcoming a beautifully togged-up congregation to a night of pre-disco dancing and a non-ironic buffet at a recherché balera.

For a full helping of our event you'll have to turn to our fashion story on page 198 in this month's W*162 issue, but here is a selection by photographer Leonardo Scotti, who captured guests as they arrived.
