Anissa Kermiche's cheeky baubles will get you in the mood (for Christmas)
The set of three ornaments, created exclusively for Browns, celebrates the female form in all is glory

Following a subdued year, a maximalist Christmas is calling, and we are looking for joy where we can find it. Forget the tinsel – for irreverent homeware, it’s hard to beat jewellery designer Anissa Kermiche’s pieces which add a saucy edge to classic design, and this trio of Christmas baubles she has created exclusively for Browns will bring a playful edge to any Christmas tree. Crafted from earthenware and finished with a metallic glaze, they are a chic way of embracing festive cheer.
Celebrating the curves of the female body in voluptuous detail, the baubles – available in gold, silver and white – are a natural addition to Kermiche’s eponymous brand.
Originally launched in 2016 from her London studio, she began to create objects as well as jewellery after a positive reaction to her first interiors pieces. Her collections such as Jug Jugs, Love Handles and My New Breast Friend depict the female silhouette, adding a slant to classical design codes. They sit alongside her sculpted jewellery which reinterprets familiar shapes; lamps, paintings and sculptures are all translated into clean lines and loops of precious metal which hug the body in surprising and sensual ways.
