Richard Rogers, Graham Stirk and Ivan Harbour mark a perfect past ten years
Celebrating its tenth annivsary this year in 2017, leading architecture firm Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (RSHP) reflects on the core values of the practice, including good design, contributing to the city, and reflecting democracy among others. RSHP’s buildings show that not only is it fun to stand out, it's important to the urban environment too. From Lloyd’s to the Leadenhall Building, the practice’s projects often show a fearless rebellion to the status quo, while always maintaining the utmost interest in economy and functionality. Wallpaper* celebrates the remarkable practice in our November issue (W*224) with an interview with the three founding partners Richard Rogers, Graham Stirk and Ivan Harbour in their offices on the 14th floor of the Leadenhall Building.

Ellie Stathaki is the Architecture & Environment Director at Wallpaper*. She trained as an architect at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and studied architectural history at the Bartlett in London. Now an established journalist, she has been a member of the Wallpaper* team since 2006, visiting buildings across the globe and interviewing leading architects such as Tadao Ando and Rem Koolhaas. Ellie has also taken part in judging panels, moderated events, curated shows and contributed in books, such as The Contemporary House (Thames & Hudson, 2018), Glenn Sestig Architecture Diary (2020) and House London (2022).
